About the Event
This course introduces the new or inexperienced shooter to the fundamentals of the handgun, along with the skills necessary to properly handle, store, and shoot a revolver and/or semi-automatic handgun. The hands-on training starts with proper stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control. Students then progress to the Live Fire Range for a safety briefing, and the controlled shooting practical. Our low student to certified instructor ratio provides personal attention as well as safety monitoring. This is NOT a concealed carry course. Students fire 50-100 rounds on paper silhouette and steel targets. Each class has limited space, so register early, these classes fill up quickly.
