Intermediate AR-15 (05/29/21)

This course is designed to develop understanding and proficiency with an AR-15. Students will progress from safety, carbine parts, zeroing, magazine changes, malfunctions, and barricade work. You will develop skills that will increase your speed, accuracy, and confidence with the carbine. This is a 4-hour course consisting of 100% range time. This course covers:

• Safety
• Characteristics and accessories
• Sight-in/zero procedures (WE WILL NOT ZERO RIFLES AT THIS COURSE)
• Fundamentals
• Ready positions
• Magazine changes (admin and tactical reloads)
• Shooting positions and transitioning to shooting positions
• Multiple shots/multiple targets
• Malfunction drills
• Barricades

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: None required

DURATION: 4 hours COURSE FEE: $100

EQUIPMENT:

• Working AR-15 with iron sights or scope (loaner available on request)
• Minimum of two (2) magazines
• 100 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection

ATTIRE: Range appropriate attire.

REGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS: Cancellation: 50% of class/event fee is a non-refundable deposit. Refunds: Refunds for the balance of event fee, if no transfer is possible, are issued via PayPal. No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
