Beginner Handgun/Concealed Handgun Course (PRIVATE COURSE-SIOUX COUNTY)

This course introduces the new or inexperienced shooter to the fundamentals of the handgun, along with the skills necessary to properly handle, store, and shoot a revolver and/or semi-automatic handgun. The hands-on training starts with proper stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control. Students then progress to the Live Fire Range for a safety briefing, and the controlled shooting practical.

Our T.R.U.E. (Tactical-Responsible-Useful-Effective) Conceal Carry Course emphasizes civilian self-defense situations, self-defense tactics, critical survival shooting skills, tactical thinking situations, knowing when to take yourself out of the threat zone and knowing when and if to even present your firearm in the threat zone. Sometimes being a good witness is the best option. We also teach the responsibilities of concealed carry, gun ownership, and what happens "after the shot." The reality based training techniques make this information useful for everyday concealed carry and useful for survival in a critical incident. Proven and effective advanced tactics round out this challenging course. This 8 hour class consists of classroom instruction, scenario based training, and range training.

• Holster (For safety reasons bra holsters, soft side nylon holsters, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back holsters are NOT permitted. Contact us with questions.)

• 100 rounds of ammunition

• Eye & ear protection

(We have loaner handguns and eye/ear protection available at no additional charge. Student will need to provide ammunition.)

REGISTRATION POLICIES & TERMS

Cancellation: 50% of class/event fee is a non-refundable deposit.

Refunds: Refunds for the balance of event fee, if no transfer is possible, are issued via PayPal refund.

No-Show: Participants who do not show to the event without prior 72-hour notice forfeit their total registration fees.
